Establishment & development
The company was established in 1992 by Christos Papandreou in Thessaloniki. At that time, the main activity of the company was focused on the clothing sector and especially on the trade of accessories. Gradually, with the changing or increased customer needs, new requirements were created in the field of packaging. In the years 1992-2000, the company represented Mainetti SPA, the world's largest fashion packaging behemoth, and became the leader in apparel packaging in the Greek market.
In 2004 Cartabianca is modernized, develops new products (e.g. bags, boxes, stickers, touch paper), and from the clothing sector dynamically penetrates almost all market sectors (technology products, culture and communication, beauty products, sports items, etc.). In the years 2007-2017, the company invests in mechanical equipment and until today it is the most modern vertically integrated company, while in the period 2015-2021, it enters into partnerships with almost all major brands in the Greek and European market and becomes the leader in the retail packaging sector.
In 2021, the company will be further modernized in line with market requirements, introducing a functional and user-friendly e-shop on its website, in order to meet, facilitate and serve the needs of customers in Greece and Europe.
